Zach Brewster

Senior Pastor

 Zachary Brewster, Sr. has been serving in ministry for over 15 years. He began his work as a Praise and Worship leader, prior to being called by God to preach. After becoming a licensed minister, he pastored a traditional church for eight years. Although he was able to create change there, he felt bound by the divide between what God was calling him to do and what his parishioners desired. This led to the difficult choice of seeking God’s direction regarding a departure. After seeking counsel and clearly hearing from God, he decided to resign from his role and to plant The Change Church.  

Throughout his ministry, Zach always believed that the primary role of the church was to change someone’s life. However, he also felt limitations in the ability for the church to accomplish that goal as a result of what the present-day church had become. As a result, The Change Church is committed to re-establishing the church as seen in Acts 4:32-35.  

Zach completed his Undergraduate work at the College of Charleston earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and has also earned a Master’s of Bible Exposition from Columbia International University. In addition to being a Pastor, Zach is also a Motivational Speaker, HR Consultant, Life Coach, and an Author.

Zach has three wonderful children, Zora, Zachary, Jr. and Alissa Grace and an Amazing Wife Tanaya Latigue-Brewster who serves faithfully along side him in ministry.

Tanaya Latigue-Brewster

 

Tanaya Latigue-Brewster is a native of Marion South Carolina, although she has been in the Upstate for over 20 Years. She has a passion for young people and has always served in that area of ministry. Her work at the Change Church is no different, however she also supports her husband by creating opportunities to ensure that every member knows how valuable they are!


 Professionally, Tanaya is an HR Leader. She completed her undergraduate Degree at Wofford College and her Graduate Degree at Clemson University. 


Mike Graham

Mike Graham is a part of our Leadership Team. Utilizing his Executive Leadership skills from the Manufacturing Industry, Graham's primary responsibility is to ensure that our facilities are pristine and functioning properly, as well as shaping the strategic focus of our ministry.

Travis Mayfield

Travis Mayfield is a part of our Leadership Team. Travis has various Technical Skills that make him a valuable asset to the Ministry. Additionally, he leads our media efforts to ensure that the thousands of people who worship with us virtually on a weekly basis are able to have an Awesome worship experience wherever they choose to tune in from. Travis is also a manufacturing executive who brings sound business strategies to our team. 

Bracy Hunt

Bracy Hunt is a part of the Leadership Team. Professionally, he is a CPA which gives the necessary skills and insight to serve as our church's CFO. Bracy ensures that we are financially sound and provides strategic counsel for our future stability.   

 

LaVoy Nance

 Minister LaVoy Nance leads our G1, G2 and G3 Youth Ministry. G1 and G2 focus on our elementary aged kids, while G3 is geared towards high schoolers. 

Jermaine Bruster

Minister Jermaine Bruster serves as Pastor Brewster's Armor Bearer. He also teaches our online Bible Study on Wednesday nights along with Pastor Brewster. 

 

Julius Renrick

Julius Renrick is our Music Director  He leads our Praise and Worship Ministry that consists of a Dynamic group of Musicians and Voices

 

Charlene Mangle

Minister Charlene Mangle is the founder of G.R.O.W. women's Bible Study. They have partnered with The Change Church to provide Women with an Opportunity to study the Word intensively together.  

 

Donyel Sterling

Donyel Sterling leads our Parking Lot and Security Ministry. They ensure that we are able to Worship safely each week. 

Deborah Rush

Minister Deborah Rush coordinates our food box ministry for Senior Citizens in the community.
